 The know-how of our Hardware Developers (HD) contributes decisively to the development of our digital camera systems in the mechanical, optical, electronic and software areas. HDs are the interface between sales, marketing, development and production. HDs coordinate and supervise their projects from the initial idea to the release of a product. Furthermore, HDs work closely together with the development departments of renowned partner companies.
HDs test newly developed products during all project phases, define the test methods and document the development processes and are always looking for ways to improve workflows. HDs have a sense of responsibility for maintaining the high quality standards of our products. HDs provide cost-performance analysis data. Most of our HDs have a degree in an area of the natural sciences or an engineering area. They have experience concerning today's camera systems in the light or electron microscopy sector, as well as comprehensive familiarity with the design of mechanical and optical systems, of image processing, image analysis, as well as with software programming. Alongside good, general technical know-how, HDs approach their work cost-consciously and entrepreneurially.
