Prevention is the best strategy

Qualifications and training are one aspect to ensure the individual ability of every employee to work in every phase of life. Health and its maintenance are aspects that are just as important. Therefore at Olympus we are purposefully vigilant to maintain a healthy, pleasant and safe working environment. This includes offers for health care and healthy nutrition, among other things. For only healthy employees can deliver the performance required. We can also score with regard to our employee benefits. Thus at Olympus there is a thirteenth salary, a company pension plan, 30 days vacation and bonus and anniversary payments. Because those who perform well should also be compensated accordingly.

Performance pays off
We give our employees a thirteenth salary, which is paid in November. Furthermore, a bonus is paid once a year depending on the company financial results. Finally we honor a long period of employment with our anniversary payments. .

Company pension plan
Olympus offers all employees the possibility of a company pension plan. This is employer-financed to a large extent with a basic pension, but offers an additional pension provision to which employees can make voluntary contributions. Depending on the individual need, there are four pension modules to choose from.

Gesund.Leben.OSIS
Under this project name we are initiating an entire series of promotions – and every year there are new ones: smoking cessation courses, back care training, flu immunizations, “An apple a day”, reimbursement for workplace glasses, mobile workplace massages, free beverages, reasonable fitness club memberships, financial support for team events, first aid courses, participation in running events, driver safety training courses, and regular consulting hours for our company doctor. Because we also want to be healthy and live well when we are old.

Support when you need it - The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for OSIS Employees
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for OSIS Employees is an employer-financed external counseling program. It is designed to provide employees with quick, professional, non-bureaucratic and confidential support. EAP for OSIS Employees is for individual counseling for employees and supervisors to address personal and / or work related concerns, and offers consultations for management, the work council and other employee groups on issues of mental health and employee wellbeing. The EAP is a strictly confidential program.

Safety in the workplace
Together with the safety representatives, our occupational safety specialist continuously analyzes the working conditions in the company. This analysis produces suggestions for ergonomics in the workplace, for necessary instructions and important safety regulations. All these points are discussed regularly and implemented in the occupational safety committee.

Accident insurance and ISOS
Olympus has taken out accident insurance for all employees that also applies outside working hours. In addition, for our employees on business travel, foreign health insurance and our outside service provider International SOS, which assists with all medical and safety-related questions and provides coverage for emergencies on business trips via our ISOS card, are available.
