Applications, databases, core software as well as set-up programming
As a member of our development team, software developers (SWDs) at OSIS are active in the following areas: applications, databases, core software as well as set-up programming. SWDs develop, document and test program modules, software components and entire applications including controllable hardware components such as cameras, microscopes, scanning stages, controllers and other third party devices. The applications SWDs work on are used worldwide in a broad variety of research and industrial application areas. These include life science, materials analysis/quality control as well as user networking with databases and via the internet. Because SWDs have studied information science, physics/mathematics or similar subjects, they have demonstrated their ability to think analytically and to work in a well-structured manner. The personality traits we are looking for include being willing to learn, flexible, creative, a good team player and able to work independently.
